ST Aerospace started as a maintenance depot to support the Republic of Singapore Air Force in 1975. Today it has today grown into a full service aviation facility that supports a global clientele operating a wide range of commercial and military aircraft.

    • Acquired Precision Products Singapore (PPS)

    • Renamed SAS Component to ST Aerospace Solutions (Europe) A/S and acquired 100% shareholding
    • Established ST Aerospace Technologies (Xiamen) Company (STATCO), a second engine MRO facility located in China
    • Signed a joint venture agreement with lberia Maintenance to set up a landing gear MRO facility, "Madrid Aerospace Services S.L.", in Madrid, Spain

    • Set up ST Aviation Training Academy (STATA) to offer commercial pilot training, complementing existing military pilot training capability
    • Established first import and export facility, Guangzhou Aerospace Technologies and Engineering (GATE), in China

    • Established Panama Aerospace Engineering (PAE) in Panama
    • Expanded into Europe market with the acquisition of SAS Component A/S in Copenhagen

    • Set up Shanghai Technologies Aerospace Company Limited (STARCO), a Joint Venture company with China Eastern Airlines, in Shanghai, China

    • Set up San Antonio Aerospace (SAA) in San Antonio, USA.

    • Merged under Singapore Technologies Engineering (ST Engineering) together with ST Kinetics, ST Electronics and ST Marine.

  • 1991
    • Established ST Mobile Aerospace Engineering (MAE) in Mobile,USA.

  • 1990
    • Set up Airline Rotables Limited (ARL) in Stansted, UK.
    • Expanded into the commercial market with establishment of ST Aviation Services (SASCO).
    • Listed on Singapore Exchange.

    • Formed Eurocopter South East Asia JV with Eurocopter.

  • 1975
    • Started operations and undertook the refurbishment of the A4 Skyhawks.
